Coldplay

Coldplay adalah grup musik rock alternatif yang dibentuk di London, Britania Raya, pada tahun 1996. Grup musik ini terdiri dari Chris Martin sebagai vokalis utama, Jonny Buckland sebagai gitaris utama, Guy Berryman sebagai bassis, dan Will Champion sebagai drummer. Coldplay telah merilis 4 album sepanjang kariernya, dimulai dari album debut Parachutes ( 2000 ), kemudian A Rush of Blood to the Head {2002), X&Y (2005), dan album Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008) dan terakhir adalah sebuah album konser berjudu LeftRightLeftRightLeft (2009). Secara keseluruhan, Coldplay telah meraih kesuksesan melalui 4 album ini dengan total penjualan mencapai 33,9 juta album. Beberapa singelnya telah menjadi hit seperti "Yellow", "Clocks" ( pemenang Record of the Year pada Grammy Award 2004 ), "The Scientist", "Speed of Sound", "Fix You", dan "Viva la Vida". Mereka mendapat tanggapan baik dari media di album Viva La Vida Or Death and All His Friendssetelah di album X&Y mendapat kritik yang buruk di media.
